Submissions

If you are interested in submitting music to Rain netlabel please read the text below carefully:

• Please be prepared to hear 'no'. We have a clear view of what music we want to release.
• Please get to know our catalogue and then decide whether Your music fits to Rain. If your music is not ambient then probably we won't be interested.
• Please send us only complete albums - no random tracks or compilations. Please also finish Your album (mastering etc.) before submitting to us.
• We will not release any material which has been already released elsewhere. Releasing in Rain means that the particular album should not be released again elsewhere.
• We probably won't be interested in albums that last less than 40 minutes.
• Please get to know what is the license we release music under. Please be sure You accept it before submitting Your music.
• We are able to provide Your album with a cover. However if You have Your own cover ready, submit it to us as well. Please bear in mind that we might don't like it (it happens rarely).
• Unfortunately we cannot return any physical materials You send to us.

If you are still interested in submitting your release for consideration, you can either snail mail us an audio CD-R with the entire release on it, or provide a location that the entire album can be downloaded (in FLAC format ONLY).
If you mail a cdr, please make sure it is in standard cd format (which essentially means it will play in a standard non-computer cd player) and that it has been recorded from a lossless source. Then contact us to request the mailing address to which to send the cd.
If you want us to download your album, please make sure it is composed of lossless FLAC files, and is zipped up into a single zip file. Once you've done this, then please contact us and let us know where we can download the zip file from. Free download services are acceptable, as long as we are not required to establish an account to download the zip file.
